X-Band was founded in Aug/2015 when Gust met Daniel. As history goes, Carlos, Markus and Felipe joined and boost the Band.
Couldn't possibly go well as Gust loves Beatles and Queen, Dani Whitesnake and Carlos Led Zeppelin and Metal, Felipe Dream Theater while Markus is the Groove guy.
....they set together however with 70s Hard Rock...and then came the 1st Song "Nurzse" (germanized from Nurse), part of the 1st Album "RöntgenStrasse" (X-Ray in german) that pays a tribute to the street address of the Band Studio in Arheilgen-Darmstadt.
The Band name was inspired in the high energy Frequency spectrum X-Band (8-12GHz) used at ESA in Darmstadt (the home town of the Band) used to control the Spacecrafts. It links the Band to high energy music...
