FULL SPIN

FULL SPIN is the band from Guitarist and Singer-Songwriter Steffi Spingles.

At the end of 2008 the band came into fruition as a trio with Erwin Schmidt on Bass and Johannes Hackl on the Drums backing Steffi with their joint musical purpose, namely the drive to create a world of music from the elements of Funk, Rock and straight Pop.

The extraordinary combination of the lusty female vocals paired with the dirty, funky sound of guitar from Spingies is supported by the earthy grooves from the rhythm-section creating the trademark of the band. FULL SPIN charecterize their music with clear lines of simplicity to openly expose the soul character and inner-core of their songs.

In regards to content, it is clear what they are bout.....

S (...) Mehr anzeigenince the release of their Debut EP in February 2010, the band has applied clear character and have presented themselves likewise also on record – powerfully, honestly and on the level.

Among other things, FULL SPIN have positioned their title-track “Go Away” at VIVA-LIVE and on-air on BigFM and on SWR Radio DASDING. They are the winners of Backnanger SWR3 Nachwuchsfestival 2009 and were awarded there the Wolle Kriwanek Förderpreises. Since formation in 2008 and more than 100 concerts (to name a few: Das Fest KA, Capitol, Feuerwache MA) the band can look back upon support-slots for Acts such as Tito&Tarantula, Revolverheld, Aura Dione, Wir sind Helden, Clueso and Nevio.
