=FUDGE=

Formed in December 2012, =FUDGE= quickly made their mark on the regional metal scene. Within just a few months, they won the "Haix Band Contest" in their hometown Mainburg (Germany), in the summer of 2013, outshining a number of other acts. Their first EP, "Never Stop Firing", was released worldwide in 2014 via Welovemusic Records, garnering praise from music bloggers and metal enthusiasts alike. In 2015, =FUDGE= contributed the title track for the indie film "Bittersweet Revenge", further solidifying their presence in the community.

The long-awaited debut full-length album "Dust to Come" finally dropped in 2020 during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, as a direct continuation of their earlier EP. The album received rave reviews from international critics, praised for its fusion of ind (...) Mehr anzeigenustrial rock with various metal styles. The horror-themed tracks and the standout music video for "The Summoning" captured the band's bold aesthetic and musical direction at the time.

Despite facing challenges during the pandemic, which almost led to the band's breakup in 2021, =FUDGE= emerged revitalized. The departure of longtime vocalist and synth player Chris Techritz marked a significant shift in their approach. Now fronted by lead guitarist and vocalist Max Amberger, whose aggressive vocal style drives their new music, =FUDGE= continues to evolve. With a reorganized lineup — featuring Sebastian Michaelis on rhythm guitar, Jake Curtis on drums, and Sebastian Valek on bass, their songwriting process has become a true collective effort. Also, they moved away from their earlier persona-driven performances. These changes have allowed the band to explore broader themes in their music, breaking free from the horror-centric focus of their previous work, and positioning them as a versatile force in the metal scene.

With new material already in the works and the band’s sound evolving in exciting ways, =FUDGE= is poised for a bright future. Their commitment to pushing creative boundaries and delivering powerful music promises more intense and innovative releases in the years to come. =FUDGE= is ready to take the stage once again, blending industrial grooves and metal intensity into a powerful live experience.
