Bela Wrona

Bela Wrona begann mit Freunden in einem Vorort von Regensburg, einer gemütlichen bayerischen Provinzstadt, Musik zu machen. Er entschied sich von Anfang an dafür, seine eigene Musik mit eingängigen Melodien zu schreiben und seine Ideen in die Welt zu tragen, anstatt nur die Musik anderer zu spielen.
In seiner ersten Band „Nailed“ wandelte er sich mehr und mehr vom Gitarristen zum Rocksänger. Der Stil der Band war im Grunge- und Alternative-Bereich angesiedelt, während seine nächste Band „The Snow White Mirror“ eher eine Mischung aus 70er-Jahre-Metal, Blues und Punk war. Bela wechselte dann mehr zu einem „Jim Morrison“-Gesangsstil mit einem kleinen Hauch von Ozzy Osbourne und Liam Gallagher. In Köln gründete er mit Kommilitonen und Freunden eine Heavy-Psych-Rock-Band namens „Sideway Spiral“ (...) Mehr anzeigen, benannt nach einem Motorpsycho-Song. Aber neben diesen Bands schrieb er auch Solostücke auf seiner Akustikgitarre.
Seit ein paar Jahren ist er als Singer Songwriter und Solomusiker unterwegs. Bela schreibt melodische Retro Pop-Rock-Songs - von herbstlich melancholisch-folkigen (Americana-) Songs bis über einigen sonnigen Songs mit 80er und 90er Westcoast Feeling bis zu ein paar soulig R'nB artigen Singer Songwriter Nummern. Bela will mit seiner Musik Leute ansprechen die eine Sehnsucht nach der eingängigen Melodiösität und dem Charme des Rock und Pop der 80er und frühen 90er haben. Er möchte aber auch diejenigen ansprechen, die offen für Stilmixe sind und bestehende Stile im anderen Licht zu sehen..oder in dem Fall in einem anderen Kontext zu hören.
Seine Vocals sind vielseitig, von 80er Rock Vocals über tiefes Jim Morrison und Johnny Cash Timbre bis hin zu Pop R'nb Style. Eine Martin mit zwei Tonabnehmern und zwei verschiedenen Akustikamps und eine Taylor-Bariton-Akustikgitarre liefern einen individuellen sustain-betonten Akustiksound zu seinen Songs. 
Diese Songs sind u.a. in „Bluegreen“, seinem selbstproduzierten ersten Soloalbum, enthalten. Drei dieser Songs sind bereits veröffentlicht.
Bela hat außerdem einige Cover aus den 80ern und 90ern mit dazu genommen (beispielsweise Lionel Ritchie, Bryan Adams, REM, Pearl Jam) und spielt auf Geburtstagen und Hochzeiten.

Bela Wrona started to make music with friends in a suburb of Regensburg, a cozy Bavarian provincial city. He opted to write his own music with catchy tunes from the start and spread his ideas into the world, instead of just playing someone else’s music.
In his first band called “Nailed“ he metamorphosed more and more from a guitar player to a rock singer. The style of the band was located in the Grunge and Alternative areas while his next band „The Snow White Mirror“ was more a mix of 70s Metal, Blues and Punk. Bela then switched more to a „Jim Morrison“ vocals style with a little touch of Ozzy Osbourne and Liam Gallagher. In Cologne, he founded a heavy psych-rock band with fellow students and friends called "Sideway Spiral", named after a Motorpsycho song. But alongside the these bands, he also wrote solo stuff on his acoustic guitar.
Traversing the bridge from rock to pop and has been on the road as a singer-songwriter and solo musician for a few years now. Transforming from a rock singer to a singer-songwriter, there is this idea of writing old-school melodic pop rock songs. Bela writes melodic retro pop-rock songs - from autumnal melancholic-folky (Americana) songs to some sunny songs with an 80s and 90s Westcoast feel to a few soulful R'nB-style singer songwriter numbers. Bela wants his music to appeal to people who have a longing for the catchy melodiousness and charm of 80s and early 90s rock and pop. But he also wants to appeal to those who are open to mixing styles and seeing existing styles in a different light, or in this case, hearing them in a different context.
The vocals are versatile, from 80's rock vocals to deep Jim Morrison and Johnny Cash timbre to pop R'nb style. He was looking for a sustain emphasized acoustic sound. A Martin with two pickups and two different acoustic amps and a Taylor baritone acoustic guitar provide an individual sound to his songs.
These songs are included in "Bluegreen", his self-produced first solo album. Three of these songs have already been released.
Bela has also included some covers from the 80s and 90s (e.g. Lionel Ritchie, Bryan Adams, REM, Pearl Jam) and plays at birthdays and weddings. Weniger anzeigen
