Mood

MOOD is an Alternative Indie Rock band from Barcelona, one of the most known group in the alternative local scene and now emerging in the national and international rock panorama, after years of maintaining the choice of a strong independent path. After being finalist in various Festivals, like the Indie-Pendent Barcelona 2009, receiving good critics in specialized magazines like Mondo Sonoro, radios and some tvs with the EP “I’m in the MOOD”, the band launches its first Album: Electric Overdose (13 new songs) in late 2012, and is now touring abroad ( like Brazil, Italy, Ireland, Portugal, Germany, England, Canada, USA), never forgetting to offer their Catalonian fans, periodic gigs in the best venues of the city, sharing the stage with other local bands. 
MOOD is characterized by a vibran (...) Mehr anzeigent and authentic sound (sung in English), result of the mixing of the different cultures of its members, typical of “Barna”: Italy, England, Germany and Spain. This is why MOOD’s peculiarity is the internationality and its “forte” is the live performance. MOOD’s direct “way” hooks the audience. From its free attitude of experimentation, blossoms a powerful “ rock guitarrero” enriched by originally sentimental-dramatic lyrics reaching an honest mix of brit-pop, classic rock and stoner rock. The pop-rock signed by MOOD makes everybody sing, dance, and suddenly be moved, it sticks in your head and unifies the public. There you can also find an appetizer of the new acoustic project of the band: The MOOD Whispers, a very interesting unplugged mix of covers and in-edit MOOD songs, performed on piano and acoustic guitar. 

MOOD has a very strong draw capability in Barcelona for both electric or acoustic projects, original & covers where asked. They had a very good review recently on MondoSonoro and few web radio and specialized blogs.

MOOD is also now recording the next EP with 6 new songs.
